Houston portrait photographer, Michael Carr, offers on location engagement portrait sessions. Today we are highlighting a couple’s engagement session we photographed at the family’s ranch. The ranch served as the perfect setting for this session, since the rodeo has been an active part in the couple’s lives. The family has enjoyed this location for many years, this setting served as the perfect location to start the storytelling process about this young couple’s relationship.
If your vision is a location portrait, we can accommodate most requests. Location portraiture is where Michael’s career began and continues to be one of his most sought out services. Again, a portrait consultation is always recommended so that the clients’ vision and expectations can be communicated and understood. As a courtesy, Michael will scout most locations prior to any confirmed shoot date. Some commercial locations require commercial permits and fees for photography, which must be purchased by the client prior to the session date. We do offer access to public non-fee locations with lush landscapes or architecturally strong backgrounds. Most location sessions are approximately 50 minutes to 1 hour in duration.
